Real Reviews on WordPress hosting providers

January 7, 2016 by JJ 5 Comments

Reliable  and good wordpress hosting is a necessity  for  professional bloggers. If you are setting up your first self hosted blog with paid hosting or then just searching  for more information  on setting up a blog – You will need a domain name + a good hosting company as a minimum. [Updated March 2016]

Google  will give you both good reviews and bad reviews for hosting , but you yourself need to know what you actually need to start a blog – Like Do you  need email forwarding, do you need a Free domain name, are you looking  for a CMS website.

A newbie blogger can make do with good shared hosting  whihc is quite cheap to start with and more popular blogs with  high traffic possibly need a dedicated hosting  or VPS service.

Unfortunately, If you search for Word press Hosting on Google – you will  pretty much get bad reviews on each and every webhost out there, that is providing a wordpress hosting service. It is difficult to get a 100%  genuine review that proves that a particular web-host ticks all the boxes.

99.9 % Uptime for wordpress hosting Guaranteed, Really!

I have now been in the blogging game for many years and gone through quite a few hosting providers. I still currently use  Bluehost , Dreamhost, Hostmonster and now go daddy and they have done well, but with many ups and downs over time.

To my good or bad luck I just  signed up for go daddy wordpress hosting  and  a week later happened to come across heaps of  reviews saying it is very bad host for wordpress hosting, so I am keeping my fingers crossed.[update – I am still using godaddy now 11/07/2016 and it  is still a good choice for beginner niche websites]

Hostmonster hosting wordpress provider reviews

I Decided to do a proper restack of all my blogs and websites recently and move good websites to better performing hosts  to get the best out of my websites (revenue). I was deciding between Hostgator and godaddy when I went to go daddy website saw their 99.9 % uptime guarantee and took the jump. Lets see how it goes i will keep you posted

Broken promises on wordpress hosting

Bluehost has had its ups and downs over the years, but currently I am quite pleased with my bluehost account.

For that part  I have also had  issues with Dreamhost and Hostgator  but not in the last couple of years- So that is going good,  All of the  top hosting services have now upped their game and is providing good hosting service and customer support.

I have been with each of these hosts now for  almost 7+ years now.

In the meantime if you are looking for a “wordpress host” that is comparatively reliable than the rest its worth  going with Dreamhost, they have been much more reliable than the other hosts I have currently.

      hey man

i cant suggest hostgator Over bluehost as i use both ,tho i can say that i like the bluehost backennd/admin panel much better than hostgator as its much more user friendly. Its your choice in the end and you can switch hosting providers ..if you not pleased with any of them..though i would say you wont probably do so once you set your blog up..

Whichever host you go with …. Get at least a 36 MONTH PLAN IF YOUR SIGNING UP .. otherwise you will lose out on the discounted price when it gets renewed after 1 year . Here is my -> bluehost discount link you will get the most recent updated offer by using this

      Good luck

Ive had problems with blue host with lots of downtime. Support most of the time don’t have a clue what’s going on by giving different reasons all the time why the hosting was down. They give you plans with unlimited domains hosting and bandwidth and then when your site is down and blocked they tell you you have used too much CPU ,in spite if just having a few blogs running on the hosting server.
