Review of JVC FULL HD video camera GZ R10 Model

Technology will change, but there will always be cameras – Be it as a camera or a smartphone or even a tablet cameras are a necessity, but if you are serious about taking photos then you need a dedicated camera with camera functions.

People like to capture moment in their life for good memories or then just capture that sudden funny moment , but to get it right and have a good video or photo you need the right gadget. Companies therefore must provide solutions for all types of consumers.

JVC’s new series of camcorders from the Everio Range consists of rugged models and was only launched recently at the biggest technology show CES 2014. It is called Everio and it is based on the “Quad Proof” idea introduced with the ADDIXION point-of-view action cams.

QUAD proof , So what is this new term ?

It means these cameras are built tough ! Quad Proof does mean that the pair is water-proof down to a depth of 16.4-feet, shock proof to drops from up to 4.9-feet, freeze proof down to temperatures of 14 degrees Fahrenheit and guess what it is also dustproof – but I don’t know why you would need that (dustproof) when I would treat it as my prized possession and keep it in a safe place.

The first thing that I could not find was where to connect the charger to charge the camera, but this was soon sorted when I found the adapter cable that converts the mini-usb port to connect to the charger cable. You also get a Mini USB to USB cable with the camera, so you can charge it via usb if you like.

Functions are there as standard in all cameras and there are heaps of added functions as well. I am used to smartphone touch sensitivity for pressing buttons, but cameras often don’t match the smartphone sensitivity and the JVC was no different, though it gets the job done.

ZOOM in on this HD Video Camera

The camera lens’ zooming capabilities are quite good and can be extended digitally to 60x with the Dynamic Zoom technology.

You can take a still image while recording a video which is quite handy.

The battery on this HD camera is strong enough to provide a decent 4.5 hours of full HD video recording, even in tough and harsh conditions. The bonus is that the camera also supports 3rd-party external batteries.

Price of this camera

The Everio range of JVC HD cameras are priced from $399.95 to $499.95 based on storage and different models in this range. Prices can vary a little bit from dealer to dealer.

First off, be aware! Make sure you are aware of all the different online tricks and scams that thieves can use to obtain your personal information – this way you’ll know what to look for. Keep your personal data private and never disclose it to strangers, and also make sure to check the URL of websites before you enter any vital information. Ensure your passwords contain letters and numbers, secure your wireless network, and don’t log into banking and credit card sites while using public hotspots.

When browsing the web, use a comprehensive antivirus software such as McAfee Total Protection Software, which will protect you from spyware, malware, and viruses, as well as steer you clear of any fake websites that are trying to get your personal information. Also remember to use a firewall to block any unauthorized access to your computer or network.

If you do become a victim…

…it’s best to notify the credit bureaus and create a fraud alert, and also file a police report. Be proactive as well and contact any financial institutions or agencies where your accounts may be affected. I downloaded the Dan Murphy’s smartphone app this weekend and was quite surprised with the professional looking and functional app that they have produced. The app screen makes it easy to browse and search the store for wines, beers and other alcohol and the weekly deals etc. are conveniently placed just in reach of a quick tap on the screen.

Dan Murphy’s gets social with smartphone launch

Right now they are offering the special smartphone application launch deals… so go grab it. When i checked on my phone there was the “ Yellowglen Vintage Perle” white wine award winner for $89.40 for a case of 6 bottles with delivery.
