Now you can now try out Office for Windows 10 yourself, according to a post on the Office Blog. new users signed up for the Windows 10 Technical Preview can now download the apps – including Word, Powerpoint, and Excel – from the Windows Store Beta.

A universal version of OneNote already comes with Windows 10, while Outlook and Calendar are expected to be released at a later date. It is not know yet what type of version would be released, including enterprise, Pro , Build , Version of this release and the prices for this release are also not known.

FREE upgrade for all WIndows 7 and 8 Users

At the recent Microsoft’s Windows 10 event, it was announced that all Windows 7, 8 and 8.1 users will be able to upgrade to Windows 10, for free.

People who want to upgrade after that first year have to purchase it.

Only people who have a legitimate copy of Windows 7 or 8.1 will receive a license, as long as you claim it within a year after Windows 10’s launch.

Microsoft said that the free upgrade will be valid for the first year immediately after the release; if you upgrade during that time, you’ll get Windows 10 for free, for the “lifetime” of your device. The Windows Phone 8.1 will also get the update to Windows 10 on their mobiles.

4 DOMAINS FOR $40 DOLLARS, FIND OUT HOW

[updated 26 January 2015] I have been a go-daddy customer for many years now and one of the reasons is they constantly are quite competitive with other providers and also quite often come up with some ridiculously low price deals like $1.99 domain offers.

But the beauty of my last transaction as you will see below is that you can get really cheap prices just using their existing offers, once you are logged in and purchasing domains. You can sign up here.

$40 for 1 domain ( 2 years term + 3 Domains 1 year term) from godaddy

To give you an idea of the savings i got , if you take the 1 year term price for 1 domain which you normally get for say $17 a domain , then the four domains ( 5 year terms so 5 x17 = $85 and i got this for $40 )

I managed to get not only 1 Domain for two year term, but also another extra three domains for 1year term and all it cost me was $40.03 cents. On a normal day a domain like this ( without any offer) could cost me anywhere from $15 to 22 per domain.

I wanted a .com domain , so i searched for a domain after signing into go daddy and then got a domain that was available, i got this domain for the existing offer of $3.99 when i took it for two or more years , so i took it for 2 years and it cost me only $21.98, so roughly that is $10 a year , which is quite cheap.

SO when i got his , go daddy immediately suggested that there are 3 other similar domains available for whopping 70 % off. I decided to check it out , because you cant ignore a 70 % off offer and so just added it to my cart.

These domains were the . org . net and .info version of my main purchased .com domain and would come handy for my internet marketing and so i clicked the add to cart Button.

DID I GET DOMAIN Conned with a $570 BILL ?

I came to the check out cart and got a big SHOCK, my cart showed me something like $570. The i re-checked and the domains were defaulted to 5 years terms by godaddy, so make sure you change them to 1year or 2 years term as you prefer.

Because i didn’t take the default 5 year terms on eh three domains, I lost on some discount, but i still managed to get a whopping 66% discount on the additional 3 Domains.

So these 3 Domains got priced at $17 for all three, so i got each domain for a Dirt cheap price of $5.66 for a year.

I’ve written elsewhere about Free premium wordpress themes and how I finally switched from free themes to cheap paid premium themes after frustration from broken themes left from regular updates done by word press. I did for a while try designing my own WordPress themes, also tried using free themes but was not really 100 % satisfied or problems kept cropping up and it needed more maintenance. I even shelled out a modest sum for a few premium, professionally-designed WordPress themes and was burnt by making the wrong choices. I might get small commission if you do eventually decide to buy from some of the affiliate links listed below , though i honestly recommend these theme providers as i have been using them over the past couple of years

Since trying out numerous cheap, free and also paid themes, i have now pretty much narrowed down my preference to just three theme providers for my wordpress blog themes. By the way themes are also called templates by some on-line webdesign stores, just to clear any confusion.

I have used many Blog and website template and themes providers in my 10 + years of blogging and creating websites and blogs, but these are the one’s below that i still have a membership for in the last so many years and i am happy to recommend them.

Good word-press themes can normally be priced from as low as $30 to $200 and that is just for 1 theme, How ever most of these below is a membership and has more value due to the number of themes they provide in that membership.

You can also change the look of your blog to different styles , like portfolio, blog design, Full width length posts without sidebar , adjust your sidebar designs etc with just a click of the button.

This one is one of my favourites for not only wordpress themes but also blogger themes and wordpress plugins, email templates , Mailchimp plugins , facebook integration plugins from Envato-codecanyon and many more blog related stuff that i have bought from them.

Will Australia Get Google Domains Beta

Top Australian domain registrars like Melbourne IT, Netregistry, Boomerang and other australian companies don’t have to be worried yet , though the big daddy of domains like Godaddy.com , Namecheap and other big US domain registrar companies would possibly already be planning – How they are going to be tackling Google Domains trying to get a piece of their billion dollar pie.

Google Domains is a domain registration service offered by Google, which publicly launched in the United States on January 13, 2015. It is currently in the Beta stage. Wikipedia

It is left to see how google domains manages to sell australian domains, as the laws in australia for domain registrars are quiet strict. Godaddy.com was only able to sell Australian domains just a year ago after a long wait and they still haven’t yet been able to allow resellers for their Australian domain registration service.

Google Domains Public beta launched in US

Google Domain registration service that started off as Google domains somewhere around june 2014 has now just come out of beta and launched into the public beta program, which means many people waiting for this service will now be able to use the Google domains.

The new Google Domains comes with a dashboard to help users control their website. It also comes with Blogger integration to help blog posts.

The google service will offer templates or themes and a site builder price comparison tool, which includes partners like Shopify, Squarespace, Wix and Weebly. For other third-party site developers like WordPress support is limited.

What would possibly be appealing to internet marketers is that, with Google Domains, you’ll be able to buy and sell domains through the service and you get to create up to 100 email addresses under one domain.

Google is said to offer domains names at a price of $12 for now.

You also get your registration private for no extra cost, which most other big domains name providers charge a fee of anything between $7 to $18 a year.

Google right now has .coffee, .academy, .company, .us and .ninja available but will be adding top level domains registration shortly
